Anyway, Rolled Fondant class was so much fun last night!
(I'm a really big dork aren't I?)
I'm half-way happy with my cake.
It's not that I don't like it, I just wish the colors would have turned out a little different and there are quite a few mistakes. But hey, OK for my first time attempt though.
Here is my 1st fondant creation.
I really like our instructor for my cake decorating classes and everyone else in the class is so sweet and so much fun to work with. I think I'll miss them.
Here are the other cakes that were created last night. My pictures are a little blurry and I'm not sure why.
No orders at this time please!
Ha ha
Kristen,
ReplyDeleteThe sweets look amazing. Hear me out on this...when your SGA days are over, I think you should open a patisserie in downtown Richmond. Name it Sweet Treats or Kristen's Cakes. I think it could be successful.
WOW! I think you should quit SGA now and do that.
ReplyDeleteYou guys are too sweet!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
The real question here is: how did you do it all without ruining your manicure????
ReplyDeleteNo manicure. :( Just pedicure because of class. Oh but you can bet your bottom dollar a manicure is on tomorrow's agenda.
ReplyDeleteNice cakin' lady. Stuart is my fave on MadTV!
ReplyDelete...I don't wannaaaaaaaaa
Kristen,
ReplyDeleteYour cakes are absolutely beautiful. You need to come back to Cumberland and start a pastry shop.
You are a very creative person.
